These bowls have come in handy when on the go and have a very tight schedule. The top locks into place, and doesn't pop off by bumping or sliding around in diaper bag. They are made with a hard plastic material that makes it super easy to clean after use, I'm not sure about dishwasher as I prefer to hand wash this type of containers. The spoon and fork have a rubber handle that made it easier for my son to "attempt" to hold and feed himself. Also made a good chew toy at the end of the meal! *I got this item for a honest review.
