I ordered this item to use with my sons 8 month Valentines day photo shoot. It fit perfectly for him to hold, wave around, and even chew on. The pointy end of the arrow is made out of a leatherish type feel, and the other end of shiny tassels. The only downside I have to this is the tassels easily come off, like they aren't glued down much. I would def recommend this for 6+ month photo shoots!
