I purchased this as a present for my husband since he broke one of our HDMI ports on the TV. We do enjoy having this product in our home, but the only cons I've noticed is we have to constantly have something to be turned on to use it on the TV/Game system. It's a 3 way connector which we have my husbands laptop connected to it and turned on 24/7 in order to be able to turn on the TV to watch cable or play a game. This is the only reason it has gotten a 3/5 star rating. I would still recommend this if you only have one HDMI port, and you don't mind keeping something connected/turned on.
