These things are fun to play with! When the packaged arrived, my husband had to take it straight out to start using it. The chalkboard paper that it came with was very nice material, with a very good sticky on the back of it. We personally stuck it up on the door leading out of the house so we could write notes back/forth to each other. It's easy to wipe off the chalkboard paper, take a wet paper towel gently swipe back/forth on it clearing the markings off. It came in some very bright colors that were easy to see, it does say they are glass markers but that was a misprint I believe. We did not try them on glass, only on the paper that was sent with.
A nice trick to getting the marker to work is to shake it very well for a couple minutes to release the liquid to come down, think of a bingo dabber when your using these. Press down liquid releases depending on how hard a small bit might come out or a large amount may come out. This would be a good addition to your kitchen to write notes, recipes, etc. *I got this item for a honest review.
